I am a very active father of two teen aged girls’ ages 14 and 15 years old. I enjoy doing all types of activities from running, walking, racquetball, swimming, tennis and especially cycling. Fitness has been a part of my life for a very long time. I first tried spinning back in 2008 here at Fitness 2000. After all, I was already an avid cyclist who was doing around 150 miles a week on the road so taking a spin class should not really be a big deal… Right? - Wrong!!! It took some courage to move from the safety of the elliptical and treadmill machines to the spinning room where all kinds of crazy activities were going on. This is where my reality of being in shape came to an end. My first class “kicked my butt”! Even though I was working out, I was not pushing myself like I did with the coaching from the Spinning instructor. This is what got me hooked. I always say…..“Nothing makes you feel better than doing what you thought you couldn’t”. That’s how I shape my classes. I like to provide challenging, but upbeat workouts that are guaranteed to give you a great work out. Leaving you feeling accomplished and ringing with sweat… which is exactly what I want out of my workouts and hope to share with everyone who attends my class.
